Terms of Service

1. Operator and acceptance

TruHaus is a digital service operated by Interactive Designers Lab in Cairo, Egypt. By accessing or using TruHaus, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use TruHaus for a company or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to bind them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding agreements. Accounts are personal unless TruHaus approves an organisational account.

3. Nature of the service

• TruHaus is a property listing, discovery, comparison, and lead-facilitation service.
• TruHaus does not sell, buy, own, rent, reserve, value, survey, insure, finance, convey, or register property.
• TruHaus does not collect deposits or transaction payments and does not hold money in escrow.
• TruHaus is not a broker, agent, developer, lender, lawyer, surveyor, valuer, or representative of any user or listing party unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.
• Any transaction, negotiation, viewing, payment, commission, or contract is solely between you and the relevant third party.

4. Listings and due diligence

Listing information is supplied by users, listing parties, operations reviewers, or third-party sources. Although TruHaus may review fields, photos, calculations, identity indicators, or authority evidence, it does not guarantee legal title, ownership, authority, licensing, availability, condition, boundaries, price, fees, financing, measurements, planning status, or completeness.

• A label such as “ID checked”, “ownership evidence”, “mandate”, “reviewed photos”, “property identity matched”, or a trust score describes only the stated review; it is not legal-title verification or a transaction guarantee.
• Prices, installments, fees, dates, distances, maps, and calculations may be estimates or become outdated.
• Before relying on a listing or paying anyone, independently inspect and verify the property, title, seller authority, identity, licences, encumbrances, contracts, payment details, measurements, utilities, and legal and tax consequences with qualified professionals and official records.

5. No professional or financial advice

Content, comparisons, scores, search results, AI interpretations, maps, nearby places, and calculators are general information only. They are not legal, financial, investment, tax, engineering, valuation, safety, or brokerage advice. You remain responsible for your decisions.

6. Accounts and security

Provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and promptly report unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account except to the extent caused by TruHaus. We may require verification, refuse registration, or restrict features to protect users or comply with law.

7. Seller and listing-party obligations

If you submit or manage a listing, you represent and warrant that you are authorised to do so; information is accurate, current, lawful, and not misleading; required licences and permissions are valid; media and personal data may lawfully be used; material prices, fees, commissions, defects, restrictions, and availability changes are disclosed; and you will promptly correct inaccurate content. TruHaus may review, format, return, reject, suspend, label, or remove a listing, but has no duty to monitor every statement.

8. Communications and third parties

When you ask to contact a listing party, you authorise TruHaus to route the details needed for that request. Calls, WhatsApp links, viewings, negotiations, social sign-in, maps, and other third-party services are governed by those parties’ own terms and privacy practices. TruHaus is not responsible for their acts, omissions, availability, security, or content.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

• submit false, fraudulent, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, unsafe, or misleading content; impersonate anyone; or list without authority;
• scrape, copy, bulk-download, resell, republish, or commercially exploit listings or data without written permission;
• circumvent access controls, rate limits, review steps, or security measures; disrupt the service; upload malware; or use unapproved automated access;
• harvest contact details, spam users, misuse personal data, or use the service for unlawful discrimination, money laundering, fraud, or prohibited transactions.

10. Intellectual property and submitted content

TruHaus, its design, software, branding, and original content are owned by or licensed to Interactive Designers Lab. Third-party marks belong to their owners. You retain ownership of submitted content but grant TruHaus a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, copy, adapt, review, translate, display, distribute, and use it as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service and relevant listing. You confirm you have the required rights. The licence ends when content is deleted, except for backups, legal records, and uses already shared as permitted by law.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access; remove content; or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, suspected misconduct, risk to users, or breach of these Terms. You may stop using TruHaus and request account deletion, subject to lawful retention.

12. Service disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TruHaus is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that every user or listing is genuine, or that any inquiry, viewing, negotiation, sale, lease, investment, or other outcome will occur. Nothing excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Interactive Designers Lab, TruHaus, and their personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss; loss of profit, opportunity, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings; property defects; third-party conduct; inaccurate or unavailable listings; failed transactions; or payments made outside TruHaus. Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of EGP 1,000 and the amount you paid directly to TruHaus for the relevant service in the 12 months before the claim. This does not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be limited for fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Interactive Designers Lab, TruHaus, and their personnel against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your content, property or transaction, breach of these Terms, infringement of rights, or unlawful or misleading conduct. This does not require a consumer to indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct.

15. Changes

We may change the service or these Terms. We will post the updated date and give reasonable additional notice of material changes where required. Changes do not apply retroactively unless the law permits. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Courts with jurisdiction in Cairo will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring a claim elsewhere. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a claim. Nothing prevents urgent protective relief or a complaint to a regulator or consumer-protection authority.

17. General terms and contact

If any provision is unenforceable, the others continue. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights without consent; we may transfer these Terms as part of a reorganisation or transfer of the service, subject to law.
